Summary This study proposes a new technique to obtain the polyhedron equilibrium solutions which express smooth soup film surfaces with complex conditions such as very large volume or water pressure loading, and so on. The method produces a new node and new element-division depending on the size of the element when the element become extremely large. Moreover, The flatten elements are replaced with the more symmetrical element by changing their diagonal line of rectangle area formed with neighboring element to avoid existence of the flatten element. By using this technique, element shape and area distribution become more rational when curvature distribution and form of curved surface are complicated.
