By applying folding techniques of thin flat squared or circular membranes，cylindrical and conical shaped membranes as well as sphered or ellipsoidal structures which have been developed to design deployable astronautical structures，s mall-sized membranes structures with facilely foldable/wrapping patterns of thin flat sheets，cylinders and etc. are shortly summarized，and secondly，5 kinds of manufactured small-sized membranes structures are introduced，an d their folding characteristics are discussed.
