| Summary |
This paper describes the development and application of a Windows program for the form finding and load analysis of membrane structures using the unite-element technique. The large displacement effect is formulated based on the Tangent Stiffness method with the separation of element stiffness and geometric stiffness. Compared with the traditional DOS version program， the Windows version has stronger data processing capability and more friendly user interface. Moreover， since it runs under Microsoft Windows， this new program can conduct multiple instances simultaneously and share the other Windows resources.
